Ready to Vote in 2020?
The Election Office encourages voters to check their voter registration and make any updates now to be ready to vote in the 2020 elections.
Voters should complete the following steps:
- Check your voter registration by entering your first name, last name, and date of birth at voter.jocoelection.org. If your information is correct, you’re ready to vote this year.
- Update your name or address (if needed) by completing a new voter registration application.
- Update your party affiliation (if needed) by completing a new voter registration application. To vote in the Democratic or Republican Party primary elections on August 4, you must be affiliated with that party. Voters switching between parties must change their party affiliation by June 1. Unaffiliated voters can affiliate with a party at any time, including Election Day.
- Register to vote (if not registered already) by completing a voter registration application. The voter registration deadline for the August primary election is July 14.
